I. Preparations before Installation
Before installation, it is essential to cut off the power supply to ensure that the operation is carried out in a power-off state to prevent electric shock accidents. At the same time, carefully check whether the voltage marked on the lamp's nameplate is consistent with the input voltage (commonly DC12V, DC24V or AC220V), to avoid damaging the lamp due to voltage mismatch. After opening the package, it is recommended to power on and test the lamp first to confirm that it has not been damaged during transportation. In addition, the installation location must ensure that it can bear 10 times the weight of the lamp and be far away from corrosive, flammable and explosive media.

II. Installation Position and Angle
The distance between the wall washer light and the wall directly affects the light spot effect. Generally, the distance from the wall should be 20-50 cm, and this needs to be adjusted according to the beam angle of the lamp; when installed on the indoor floor, it is recommended to be 100-130 mm. The installation height should be 100 mm higher than the ground or roof to prevent the lamp from getting wet. When installing multiple lamps continuously, it is recommended to fix the first and last lamps first, align the pull wires, and then install the middle lamps to ensure the overall straightness. For continuous installations exceeding 10 meters, an alignment adjustment module should be adapted to keep the lamps on a straight line.
III. Fixation and Waterproofing
Fix the brackets using stainless steel screws or expansion bolts to ensure they are level. When connecting wires, the unused wire ends should be wrapped with waterproof tape; the power cord should be provided with a "U-shaped bend" to prevent water droplets from seeping into the interior of the lamp. After the incoming wire enters the lamp, the outlet ring should be tightened to prevent water from seeping in. After installation, it is necessary to confirm that the sealing has taken effect - even if the lamp is labeled with IP65, if the connection points are not properly sealed, water vapor may still seep in through the gaps.
IV. Wiring and Electrical Specifications
When wiring, it is essential to correctly distinguish between the live wire, neutral wire, and ground wire. It is recommended that a single branch power supply be connected to a maximum of 8-10 wall washer lights, or an additional power line be connected every 50 meters to prevent excessive voltage drop and ensure that the lights at the end do not become dim. Installation in high-voltage areas should be carried out by certified electricians. Low-voltage lamps should be equipped with waterproof transformers and installed close to the lamps.
V. Debugging and Acceptance
After installation, first check the wiring to ensure there are no short circuits, then power on for debugging. Adjust the tilt angle (usually 15° - 45°) using the bracket. Test the lights at night to observe if the light spots evenly cover the wall. For color RGB lamps, pre-programming is required to test the dynamic effect. If the light spots are not uniform, adjust the installation distance or replace the optical lens.
